UPDATE: I’ve had some emails with a couple of the same questions. I just wanted to post here so that everyone gets the same information. This call is mainly for digital scrapbooking, but I am interested in having hybrid crafters join the team as well. I won’t be mailing out any supplies for the team to use. You will download the files to your computer to use. For the hybrid crafters, they will need to print the digital papers & elements on their home printers to use for their projects. The same applies to card makers & stampers – you will need to print the digital papers to use on your projects. I hope that clarifies any questions about “getting supplies”.
Cat Scrap Fever is a new store with an exciting new opportunity.
This is the first ever design team/creative team call for Cat Scrap Fever. I am thrilled to offer this opportunity to the very talented community of digital and hybrid crafters. Are you a scrapbooker? How about a card maker? Do you make altered items? Do you have an electronic cutting machine? Do you like to do it all? Then this fabulous opportunity is calling your name. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply for this call. I am looking for 5 talented people – no CT/DT experience necessary.
Here’s the scoop:
- receive 2 kits a month; 1 my choice (usually a new release), 1 your choice, and any freebies I make.
- make 2 projects with each store kit & 1 blog post for each project with links to the shop and products used (ie 4 projects & 4 blog posts a month). Projects with freebies not required but would be appreciated. (Please do not use stock photos for your projects).
- Pin projects photos to the Cat Scrap Fever Pinterest board.
- upload photos of projects to the Cat Scrap Fever gallery & at least 2 other galleries (1 of which must be specific to digital scrapbooking) providing links back to the shop & products where permitted.
- participate on the Cat Scrap Fever forum & comment on layouts in the gallery.
- participate when challenges are run on the Cat Scrap Fever forum (can be used as one of the required projects).
- promote Cat Scrap Fever products/challenges/contests/freebies where ever and whenever you can (ie facebook, twitter, pinterest, etc.)
- other fun stuff as the occasion arises and time permits.
If you are interested in joining my team and getting in on the ground floor with a new and upcoming shop, then please email me at [email protected] with the following information:
Your name
Your blog address
A link to your most complete gallery
A picture of your best project that you think represents your crafting style
What other design/creative team commitments you have
A short bio on yourself
The deadline to apply is August 20th. Team members will be announced August 25th and the term will start September 1st. This will be a 6 month commitment with the opportunity to stay longer.
Good Luck!

I hope everyone is having a great long weekend (well, here in Canada its a long weekend). The weather is perfect here in Calgary – not to hot – not too cold. I had a nice long walk with my little dog today. She is so cute and people always smile when they see her coming. What a little joy she is.
So, onto the topic at hand… I have a matching sticker pack up on my facebook page for the At the Beach blog train kit. It will be available for the month of August, so hop on over there and pick it up.
At the Beach Sticker Pack Facebook fan freebie. Co-ordinates with the At the Beach blog train freebie
You can grab this here: Cat Scrap Fever Facebook Page then click on the big red heart to get into the freebie area.
Talk to you later…

Choo Choo everyone! How’s it going along the ride today? I think there’s some pretty awesome freebies along this train ride. I hope you were able to pick them up along the way. I don’t have much to say today, so I’m just going to give you the preview and link to my part of the blog train. I hope you like it.
(Sorry, this link has expired)
I hope you’ll take a look around the new digs. I’m so happy I finally have a real home for Cat Scrap Fever after all these years. Don’t forget to bookmark this site. I’ll be working on adding a lot more content over the next few weeks.
You can catch up on the rest of the blog train in this post at Pixel Scrappers. Have fun and don’t forget to leave a comment or two along the way.
Talk to you later…

Hi everyone! I’m finally getting organized and everything almost all sorted out with the new site. I hope you’ve had a chance to look around.
Well, today I am putting up an oldie but a goodie.
This has been up as a “permanent” free download on the old shop freebie page. If you didn’t grab it there, then I hope you will take the opportunity to snag it now. I haven’t decided how I’m going to handle my free files yet; whether I’m going to leave them up indefinitely, or only for a limited time. We’ll see. I haven’t made up my mind yet. So, you should grab this while you can…

Hello! Welcome to the new – permanent – home of the Cat Scrap Fever blog! I’m so excited about finally having my own domain and real website. Some things still need tweaking, but at least I have a few things sorted out. I hope you will come back often to visit and comment to let me know how you’re doing and what you’re thinking. The blog template is kind of boring, but that part is temporary. What do you think? Be honest. Its important to me that you all feel comfortable and relaxed coming here, so I don’t want the the colours to make it hard to read. I truly am interested in your opinion.
So that’s it for now for today. Its late and I’ve been up late all week configuring the store. Let’s just say, I’ve gone through just about every free ecommerce software I could find trying to get something that had the features I wanted and was fairly simple to install and configure. Well, I’ve been back and forth on which software to choose and I think I finally can live with the software I have now. I hope you will also take a look around at the shop and tell me what you think. I know there’s some work to do on it, but I need to build a theme for it. I’m pretty good with computers, so I want to do it myself. I will just take time.
Ok. Enough rambling for now. Like I said, I hope you come back often to visit. I’m looking forward to it!
Talk to you later…
